Kaltenbach KBS 1001 DG

The Kaltenbach KBS 1001 DG bandsaw from the year of manufacture 2004 is a semi-automatic high-performance bandsaw for sawing profiles.

This horizontal bandsaw has a mitre device to be able to saw angle cuts on both sides.

The KBS1001 has saw cutting ranges as follows: 

• 90°: 1000 x 500 mm
•  +/- 70°: 900 x 500 mm
•    + 60°: 820 x 500 mm
• +/- 45°: 640 x 500 mm
• +/- 40°: 560 x 500 mm
•    +30° 400 x 500 mm

The Kaltenbach bandsaw has a bi-metal saw band M42 with the dimensions 8250 mm x 54 mm x 1.6 mm. The saw motor is frequency controlled and has a drive power of 7.5 kW. The cutting speed is infinitely variable between 16 - 100 m/min. The working height is 640 mm. 

The control with the machine PC works with the Kaltenbach software Proficut. A maximum of 99 jobs can be entered in the software. Proficut offers multitasking operation, which means that you can enter a programme while another programme is running in the background. 

The data transfer of the band saw can be done in different ways: 1. the operator programs himself directly at the control panel. 2. the data is entered via a PC in the work preparation department and then imported via CSV file. The data is transferred via floppy disk or the network. 3. 3. the data is entered via a CAD programme. The DSTV data is imported via diskette or network. 

At present, the machine is for sale without a length measuring system. A length measuring system with roller conveyors for material transport can be offered as an option.
