Description of Voortman V200

Voortman V200 CNC-controlled plate drilling machine with deburring and marking unit for steel construction

The Voortman V200 plate drilling machine is suitable for the production of through holes, threaded holes, countersinks, center point markings and markings in pre-cut steel plates.

A CNC-controlled drilling unit and a heavy-duty table are attached to the robust machine frame, enabling the V200 to process both small and large plate sizes.

In order to achieve a fast drilling process with good hole quality, the Voortman V200 drilling machine consists of a stable and torsion-resistant machine frame. The powerful CNC-controlled drilling unit with servo drive, an 8-fold tool changer and the material support table are connected to the machine frame. Two adjustable hydraulic clamps clamp the workpiece and position it with the aid of a linear guide. The often heavy head plates and foot plates are moved on ball rollers over the machine table to the individual drilling positions. During the drilling process, a hydraulic hold-down device holds the workpiece in place.

The drilling positions are taken from a CAD file by the CNC control or entered directly into the CNC control on the machine.

The powerful drilling unit has a high drilling spindle speed of 100 to 2500 rpm and is therefore ideally suited for the use of Kennametal KSEM carbide drills with a diameter of 8 mm to 32 mm and Nenok HSS coolant channel drills from 8 mm to 40 mm as well as tapping from M8 to M24. Of course, it is also possible to use drilling tools from other manufacturers.

A Voortman VDB2 deburring unit for the underside of the panel ensures a clean drilling pattern. A Voortman VN1-16 marking unit can be used to emboss numbers and letters on the underside of the plate.

For quick tool changes, the drilling unit is equipped with an 8-position tool changer for SK40 tool holders. To ensure a long service life of the drilling tools, the tools are cooled by the drilling spindle. The nencool micro minimum quantity lubricant is used.

The max. workpiece weight is limited to 600 kg and the max. workpiece thickness to 60 mm.
The V200 drilling machine has a compressed air requirement when using cooling channel drills of 200 liters per minute at a pressure of 6 - 8 bar.

The space requirement including the safety fence is 5019 mm x 4530 mm, the maximum height is 3700 mm.
The fuse protection is 63 A, the minimum cable cross-section is 5 x 16 mm²

Take advantage of the performance of this plate drilling machine for flexible and economical head and foot plate processing in steel construction.
